Expectorant Action Cheracol D helps loosen phlegm, mucus and bronchial secretions. The expectorant action helps prevent dryness and relieves irritated membranes in the respiratory passageways. This action also helps drainage of the bronchial tubes.

Do not take this product for a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, or where cough is accompanied by excessive secretions except under the advice and supervision of a physician.

Children 6 to 12 years of age: Oral dosage is 1 teaspoonful every 4 hours, not to exceed 6 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
