What are the possible side effects of aspirin, carisoprodol, and codeine (Soma Compound with Codeine)?

The combination of aspirin, carisoprodol, and codeine is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat pain, muscle spasm, and other symptoms related to injuries and other painful muscular conditions.

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

You should not use this medication if you are allergic to aspirin, carisoprodol, codeine, or meprobamate (Equanil, Miltown), or if you have porphyria, a bleeding disorder, a history of serious stomach problems caused by taking aspirin, or if you have ever had asthma or a severe allergic reaction to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

A reddish, scaly rash often located over the surfaces of the elbows, knees, scalp, and around or in the ears, navel, genitals or buttocks.

WARNING: Children should not use products that contain codeine after certain surgeries (including tonsil/adenoid removal).
