My doctor just prescribed me Tylenol with Codeine for the awful I am over 5 months pregnant and have taken 14-20 Tylonel 3s, for my.

My doctor prescribed Darvocet for my headaches. You can look up any medication at safefetus.com to be rea__sured. I've seen some postings where people have said they go without medication for their migraines to be sure their babies are safe, but I think anyone who can handle a migraine without medication probably isn't having a migraine. I end up prescribed codeine twice while pregnant. Once after my cerclage is placed around 12 weeks and then after a c-section. It's one of the safer ones.

Its a category C drug meaning the benefits of taking it should out weigh the potential risks.

The only danger would be if you were addicted to it, then the baby would become addicted and would need to be weened after birth. But that obviously isn't the case with you :).

My dr told me it is better to avoid it if you can but if you really need it it is ok as long as you dont overdo it. Constipation can be an issue and if you already are constipated from pregnancy then you are better off without it.

I was prescribed it at 34 weeks pregnant, so I was very obviously pregnant, they just said to only take it as needed.

I was told by my OB & on the pharmacy warnings that come with It that If you are OVER 35 weeks pregnant to not take It...
